Young Electric Company provides electrical contracting services, engineering and data communication installations to the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Mr. James W. Young started Young Electric Company in 1977 in San Francisco. Our office is located in the heart of the mission district in San Francisco. Young Electric Company has and will continue to provide professional service, partnering solutions, high safety standards, and competitive bids. Our attached Mission Statement expresses our vision and passion to our clients, venders and employees.

Young Electric Company prides itself with top quality, loyal office and field staff. Most of our field staff has been employed with Young Electric Company for more than 5 years. We have 6 project managers and 4 assistant PM’s/Contract Administrators including in-house CAD capabilities.

Our resume includes Educational facilities, Bio-pharmaceutical plants, Retail, Office tenants, Hospitality and Hospitals (OSHPD), Religious Sanctuaries, Theaters, High-Tech, Clean Rooms, and High End Residential projects. We provide both design/build and plan/spec expertise as well as design/assist as needed.
